Terms of service
Last updated 2026-09-05. These terms govern your use of Fuel The Fire Connect at connect.fpfuel.com, operated by Fuel The Fire LLC.
By entering an invite code and authorizing a QuickBooks Online company, you agree to these terms on behalf of the business that owns that company. If you do not agree, do not connect.
1. What this service is
Fuel The Fire Connect is an authorization bridge. It lets you grant a custom application that Fuel The Fire LLC built for your firm read access to one QuickBooks Online company, and it holds the resulting credentials securely. It is not accounting software, it is not a bookkeeping service, and it does not give anyone advice.
2. Who may use it
You may connect a company only if you are an administrator of that QuickBooks Online company and are authorized by its owner to grant access. Access is invite-only: a one-time code we issued to you. Do not share your code. Each code authorizes one connection attempt and is dead afterwards.
3. Your QuickBooks account
Your relationship with Intuit is your own. You are responsible for your QuickBooks subscription, your users, and your credentials. We never ask for or receive your QuickBooks password. Intuit's own terms apply to your use of QuickBooks Online.
4. What we will and will not do with your data
We use the accounting data you authorize only to operate and support the application we built for you, as described in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms. We do not sell it, share it for advertising, or train models on it. This bridge reads; it does not write to your books.
5. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access a company you are not authorized for, probe or attack the service, submit codes you were not issued, interfere with other customers' connections, reverse engineer the service, or use it to break the law or Intuit's terms. We may suspend a connection immediately if we believe any of that is happening.
6. Availability
We aim to keep the service up but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. It depends on Intuit's APIs and on our hosting provider, and both have outages. We may take it down for maintenance. Unless your engagement agreement with us says otherwise, no uptime commitment applies here.
7. Ending the connection
You may disconnect at any time from the Apps menu in QuickBooks Online, or by emailing us. We may end a connection if these terms are breached, if your engagement with us ends, or if Intuit requires it. On termination we revoke and delete the stored tokens as described in the privacy policy.
8. Intellectual property
Fuel The Fire LLC keeps ownership of this service and its software. You keep ownership of your QuickBooks data. Nothing here transfers rights in either direction beyond the access you explicitly grant.
9. Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, Fuel The Fire LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that data pulled from QuickBooks is complete or accurate — it reflects what is in your books.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Fuel The Fire LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of this service. Our total liability for any claim relating to this service is capped at the greater of the fees you paid us for the associated engagement in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred United States dollars. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
11. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Fuel The Fire LLC against claims arising from your misuse of the service or from your connecting a company you were not authorized to connect.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes are emailed to the contact on every live connection before they take effect, and continuing to use the service after that is acceptance.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaiʻi, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi have exclusive jurisdiction, and each party consents to venue there.
