Connect your QuickBooks Online company

Fuel The Fire Connect is the authorization step for a custom application Fuel The Fire LLC built for your firm. It links that application to your QuickBooks Online company so it can read the accounting data your project needs.

Before you start

Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a company admin in this browser first.
Have the one-time invite code we sent you. Codes work once and expire when used.
You will land on Intuit's own consent screen. You approve there, not here. We never see or store your QuickBooks password.

Access is closed by default. Without a valid code nothing here can reach QuickBooks, and no request is sent to Intuit.

What happens next

You are sent to Intuit and asked to pick your QuickBooks company.
Intuit shows you exactly what the application is asking for (accounting data) and you approve or decline.
Intuit sends you back here and hands us a token tied to that one company. The token is encrypted before it is written to disk.
You can disconnect at any time from inside QuickBooks. See disconnecting.

What we ask for

One scope: com.intuit.quickbooks.accounting. Access to the accounting records of the single company you choose, exactly as Intuit's consent screen describes it. We do not request payroll, payments, or your Intuit account profile.
